iLevil2-SW

Thinking about buying the new iLevil 2 SW. Dual-band ADS-B Receiver, WAAS GPS, AHRS, pretty good battery life. Does iFly GPS Android support all the features of this device, including driving the AI instrument with the AHRS?

Greg,

Yes, our app and software supports the iLevil 2 SW, showing Weather, Traffic, Artificial Horizon and AHRS alerts. While we do not have a test unit from them, they have confirmed that nothing has changed in terms of connection, we are simply seeing the 1090 traffic now.

You should be able to buy the iLevil 2 SW and have confidence it will work with our iFly GPS App and devices. We actually sell the iLevil products on our store, I'm just waiting for dealer details from iLevil on the second generation to put on our store. Shane,

Thanks for the quick reply. One other question - can you provide iLevel status (battery level, GPS signal strength, FIS-B signal strength, etc) from within the iFly app? Level does have an app for this, but it’s iOS only. Besides, having this information in the main EFB app is more convenient than switching to a separate one.

Greg,

Currently, we show status on ADS-B (Receiving, Out of Range, Squawk), # of Nexrad image, # of Pireps, # of Metars, # of TFRs, Traffic Reports, GPS Ownship updates, and Heartbeats. We do not currently show the actual signal strength for GPS, Fis-B, or Bettery Level from the iLevil. I'll make sure this is on our Wish-List for consideration of the development team to add in the future.
