Other than the "Recently viewed" tab, is there a way for lining up the approach plates I want to use?

You can use the "History" button on the button bar to quickly jump back to any approach you've been reviewing.

Thanks for the info. Single pilot IFR in bumpy weather makes for a grumpy pilot.
