Hi Steve,

I'm not aware of any Android download issues. I just performed an update on my S4. Let me ask a few questions to try and narrow this down.

What is the error you are receiving?

What version are you on (this shows in the top/right area of the update page)

Do you get the error at the same time every time? If so, what are you downloading when it happens?

Are you storing this on internal memory or an SD card?

Thanks

Hi I am using ver 8.1.70 downloading to internal memory not getting a low memory error alert. It will start the download and at about 2meg into it I get connection issue, this will go on maybe three times then I get server connection issues. it says ifly is experiencing issues with downloading files. Please check your wifi and internet connections and try again. I am trying to download ca and nv. My 720 and tablet downloads fine. The Samsung did work just fine until about a week or two ago. It will not work on wifi or over the normal data line, tried with my hot spot also no go. Tonight it downloaded 26meg before it quit the most so far.

Steve,

I'm sorry you are having this trouble. I just deleted CA & NV from my android tablet and re-downloaded all that data. It was smooth and fast, no errors. So I'm fairly confident it's not a server or a data issue causing the problem. I'm also using version 8.1.70.

Can you send a bug report? Perhaps the log file will shed some light. Also when you get the download errors if you could switch to a web browser and try browsing the internet, that might help. Specifically try and navigate to www.iflygps.com (which is also our data server) - this would eliminate basic connection issue to our server.

If these test okay, you might consider deleting / reinstalling iFly GPS. Or you could try moving the data to an SD card, if you have one you can install.

Thanks,
Walter

Walter

Thanks for the reply. I noticed when the data rate is 250kb but going to take 330 mins I knew something is not right it normaly would take maybe 10mins or less. I will try the suggestion that you mentioned. I did uninstall the software and started all over no change. I will report back

Thanks
