SDCARD
IFLY Android only sees internal SDCARD directory. Does IFLY Android have ability to choose external SDCARD directories instead just one fixed directory under advanced settings?

I was able to put data files on my SD card on my Motorola Droid Raxr Maxx, but not on my Asus TF700. IFly GPS would not recognize the card on the Asus.

IFLY Android does not have the capability (YET) to offer an option to select where you want your large downloads to go. The program as written (current) only offers what the programs finds under the advanced options menu. I am sure somebody will rewrite that area of code to allow the user to choose where you want your files to go instead of where the program says they will go. Primary operating files obviously are stored within the root, but accessory files should be able to go wherever you tell the program to send them. So far, I-FLY Android (even though under BETA), you cannot do that. The programmers are issuing personally written versions for each case scenario that I am finding. Too much of a workload! All other moving map programs that I have tried and do use allow this option. Won't be long as somebody will get tired of losing sleep. I'll wait! Nice program to date and seems to work very well other than the storage issue! Joe G www.joespiper.com

Thanks for sending me the bug report. I think I might be able to resolve this for you, with our next Android release.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 8.0 Tablet and loaded the Android version of the Ifly GPS a week ago. I asked whether the IFly GPS software would store the data files in my 32 the external SD Card. I was assured that they would be there when loaded. I just checked the data card and the data fileas are all found in the SD card. Although I didn't check to see where the program operation files are located, but I assume they are on the internal memory.
