I tried it for the first time on a flight a few days ago. In 1 day of use, I am about ready to ditch my paid-for Garmin Pilot subscription.

I was pitching it to a friend with a new iPad. He downloaded it and: "What I cannot find is where you load your personal data and aircraft data and I do not see anywhere that you can file with FSS."

This is not a big deal for me, but it was a deal-breaker for him.

So ... feature suggestion: Would it be possible to partner with fltplan.com? Then we'd have the full power of that web site including planning, multiple aircraft profiles, W&B, electronic filing, etc. -- all very complementary to iFly. It would seem like bringing iFly customers to fltplan.com would be beneficial to them, so would encourage them to support development of an interface. They seem to have a pretty active software group.

Currently, there is not a "File Flight Plan" option, this is in development for a future release. Targeted release for this Spring.

Under the Flight Plan option, there is a profile where you can put in some aircraft performance details. This is used for Flight Planning details like Vertical Navigation, Fuel Burn, Pre-Flight ETE, etc. We'll look as adding additional profiles as well.

Agree, I've noted your comments. I'd like to see just a generic "Add Profile" option and have the option to add basically as many as you want. This would even be helpful for Flight Schools or Instructors, etc. I'll make sure we discuss this when the Profile project comes up again.
