I haven't opened iFly on my iPad for a few weeks, but when I just tried to, it only loads the spash page and quickly closes / crashes. If I check the apps that are running, it's there with the sectional showing, and tapping on it brings it up for a split second before it closes / crashes.

My question: Is there anyway to reload the app without losing all my data, custom instrument settings, ect. or is there maybe another fix? iPad 2, no other apps running, plenty of memory, worked perfectly the last time that i used it....

5/30 update:

I went for broke and reinstalled the app without uninstalling it first. It installed as an update (don't know for sure because the ios installed apps detail only reports it as version 8.1 as does the app store; updated version is 8.1.67) I did not loose anything, and it operates fine now.

On the iPad, no - to reload the app you must first uninstall which of course unloads all the data.

We're digging into possible causes of this problem. So far no idea. It sounds like the app is running correctly, but something is throwing it into the background. Are there any other apps you've recently installed?
