I have a new to me Ipad Air Gen 3 and it is running IOS 14.6. I also run the 740B on the panel to drive my autopilot. I prefer to enter the flight plan on the Ipad and have it sent to the 740B. In flight if I make a change to the plan by rubber banding I expect it to send the new plan to the 740B like my Ipad Air 2 did it for over a year, but I find that If I put a plan in the 740B and set it up the share with the Ipad, it sends the plan and the Ipad gets it. Problem is that I want it tgo go the other way. When I set up the Ipad to Share the plan and change the 740b to no longer Share Plan, the Ipad shows that it is sending the plan (small message at the bottom of the screen when sending), but the 740b never has the "ACCEPT" pop up and no flight plan gets transferred. I cant figure out why it works one direction and not the other. With my older Ipad it has always worked from Ipad to 740b. Could it be the latest IOS?
Update, I verified again, I cannot share flight plans from Ipad running IOS 14.6 with the 740B. I can transfer from the 740B to the Ipad like always, but not the other way. the screen says it is sending the plan, but the 740 never sees it. Since it has worked for years with the Ipad Air 2 running 13.7, I can only surmise there is something in 14.6 that is the problem.
