Seems like most people who have a cellular plan would have a cellphone.  It's really easy, and free, to connect your iPad to the internet via your cellphone hotspot.  However, I would recommend getting an iPad with internal GPS just incase your ADS-B device fails and also so you can use the iPad with Google Maps or Waze for navigation in your car.

As an aside, I just saved $2,000 on the purchase of my wife's new car by NOT getting the navigation system with backseat entertainment screens.  Carplay works great with Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps just by plugging her iPhone into the car's USB connection.  And, your maps are always up to date.

I am new to the ifly GPS system and I am having an issue on the GPS service as it is giving me the ios problem while accessing that and I am having iTunes error 9 because it has also affected my iTunes as well.

I'm not sure what that is, but I think it's a problem unrelated to iFly GPS. You'll probably need to get that resolved first. IFly GPS on an iPad and iPhone works great.

Hi Tommy,

Welcome to the iFly community!  The GPS issue may be unrelated to the iTunes Error 9, which I think has something to do with a problem updating the firmware on your device.  The first thing I would check is that iFly GPS is allowed access to Location Services, here are Apple's instructions https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207092.
