Custom Waypoints

I'm attempting to plan a flight from my home 2AZ1 over the Grand Canyon. I put my finger on a waypoint on the Special Air Traffic Rules Grand Canyon chart (Zuni Alpha) and name and save it. When I want to enter it into my flight plan it doesn't appear. I have no options to search for any custom waypoints. Yet when I go to the GC chart and put my finger on Zuni Alpha my custom waypoint is there.

It looks like the data selected on the special chart isn't transfering when I leave the chart.

Any advice??

I'm thinking you might have to use your Sectional or vector chart for custom waypoints.
