Can't download with new iPad

I purchased a new iPad Pro, and after deleting my Adventure Pilot iFly AP from the old iPad, proceeded to install it on the new iPad. Downloading the 500 mb or so of sectionals, data, etc the new iPad chokes. The WIFI drops off repeatedly. The icon disappears from the screen and must be re-enabled from Settings.

My initial research points to iOS 10, however both iPhone 7s have iOS 10 installed And WIFI works fine.

Two iPhone 7's and the old iPad 2 do not exhibit this problem.

Anyone else see a problem with WIFI dropping out?

iFly GPS works great for me on iPad Mini 4 and iPhone 6S Plus. Both are running IOS 10.2

Did you deactivate your old iPad from your iFly account? You can't just remove the app from the device. It will still be on your account if you don't deactivate it.
