Finally got an aopportunity to test my new setup. Following Oldpilot's advise I bought another double ball connector and I used the 4" arm that came with my Ipad holder. This places the top of the Ipad even with top of the dashboard of the Cessna 162. I flew 4 hours yesterday to the Pensilvania Grand Caynon and back. it worked great, I have a good visibility and can easily manipulate the Ipad.
