Reading the manual it states thsat IFly provides audio alerts. Currently I have my IPad on a knee board and haver to look down to see the vusial alerts. Thanks to OldPilot I will have a RAM mount soon that will work well in the Skycather but until then I have to look down.

Are there pilots that have looped the audio from the IPad into their headsets? And what cable have you used for it?

Thanks

Peter

Any small stereo cable should work. I don't remember the name of that size plug. One came with my Bose headset. You might be able to connect via bluetooth. Personally, I have not done it, but I did connect my phone via bluetooth just to see if it would work.

Thanks Oldpilot, ?I have a regualr Bose noise canceling headset and have added the micrphone piece to it. The cable needs to have a 2.5 or 3.5 mm stereo plug on one end and aviation sized plug ont the other. For my Garmin Virb I have something similar to record the in cockpit audio.

it is just a matter of finding the right cable.

Peter
