Ping EFB Firmware Update

My PingEFB ADS-B IN displays erroneous altitude of other aircraft by thousands of feet. There is an update to fix the issue. uAvoinix who makes the PingEFB says: "iFly support team does have the firmware and instructions for updating that unit."

I have looked all over the iFly site and cannot find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iFly reps do frequent this message forum, but their appearance is sporadic. You might get more timely results if you contact them directly via phone or email.

I'm experiencing the same issue...will keep an eye out here for solution. Thanks for posting, Jim! Mc

Thanks Cobra! Mac, I'll give you a heads up if I hear of something. Good to know someone else has the problem as well. Am surprised that uAvionix couldn't help especially since a former iFly VP went to uAvionix.
