How do you get rid of the approach plate after you are done with the approach so it doesn't clutter up the Sectional on the next takeoff?

There’s a button on the right side of the display above the the + - . It will manage the plates.

Use the button that Greg mentioned, and click hide plate, this will take the plate off your screen.
