More on m tablet.

I have no issues moving the maps on other apps. Example" Windy weather app transitions very smoothly when I move the map and there is a lot of info in that map.

I also tried downloading a low res map thinking it would be less memory usage. Still, the map is very jerky when moved. I believe this jerkiness didn't appear until the last update.

Is there a way to drop back to an earlier version of IFLY?

Found why my map pan movement is jerky when I try to pan. I suspected it happened after "sketch" was offered.n

I have now found that if I go to sketch..on the map..and them go from sketch to pan in the right box then I can pan the map smoothly. However, when I go out of the sketch mode the pan movement is jerky or erratic.

How do I go back to the version before the sketch which I will not ever use anyway?

Hi John, I am sorry for your frustration here. We are planning to put out a 10.3 patch release very soon, so there is hope that we might be able to fix this in 10.3.

Can you please duplicate the bug, and then do "Menu => About => Send Bug Report" and tell me what you saw happen (in the email).

Also, I don't know what you are referring to with the statement: " sketch to pan in the right box" - how do you go from "sketch to pan in the right box"?

It sounds like you have other issues happening too, and so the issue might be something that shows up with errors in the log.

In case John doesn't get here to answer, I interpreted his " sketch to pan in the right box" to mean that when he was in the Map Sketch mode, then went to the box at the far right side of the bottom menu bar and changed the selection from Sketch to Pan, he could then pan the map without it being jerky.

Once he closed the sketch mode and tried to pan the map, it was once again jerky.
