Hi John,

You wrote, in part...

".... I am not even going to try this since my synth will be my out if I have an engine failure ."

There are lots of good reasons IMO for someone to say they'd never even try to tland with synthetic vision.

But I'm not sure I understand your statement. Why would your synth be out with engine failure? Does all your power go off with engine failure? No battery power for even a while? And if you have a 740 it has its own power for about a half hour. And presumably if you synvision is on an ipad or Android you might have several hours of power. ??

I think you misread. He said his synth WILL BE HIS OUT.

I DO have ADSB from Uavionox and get all the goodies that come with it.

I'm just trying to get the attitude indicator on the synth vision to indicate more smoothly as does my DYNON D10.

I don't want to buy a Stratux which would give a good indication of an attitude.

There has to be a way to use a dongle to provide this info to the IFLY synth vision.

Computer Doc:

I must have misstated. I meant to say I would use synth vision if my engine failed over top of an undercast to help me find my way through the clouds. Hopefully before impacting terrain. Of course, my Earthx battery would keep the electronics running long enough to get me safely down through the clouds.

Are you connecting your tablet with iFly GPS to your Uavionox? Does the Uavionox have an AHRS sensor? You do not need two ADS-B devices. I think your problem is your tablet unless your Uavionox does not have an AHRS sensor. In that case, yes, you need something to provide the AHRS signal to your tablet. There might be something, but I think an ADS-B receiver is probably the only way to feed AHRS to iFly. Maybe someone will respond, but I would call AP and ask.

Just to be clear, iFly GPS without an AHRS signal from an equipped ADS-B device, tries to simulate AHRS using just a GPS signal. This is not adequate IMHO, and I suppose that is what you are experiencing.

And no, your tablet cannot connect to two WIFI devices at one.
