If you zoom too far out with a plate overlaid, iFly can think you've moved on to your next flight phase and stop presenting the option to hide the plate to you until you zoom back into it.

Shaun, how do you hide the plate as I am having the same issue with the plate staying on the screen.

Zoom in on the plate until it fills the screen, then hit the Plates button on the right edge of the screen -> Hide Approach Plate.
