To anybody that requests PAPR (ADS-B performance reports) from the FAA, I found some interesting data.

The only way to get a PAPR report generated is that the aircraft must be transmitting its "N" number.

I accidently flipped my "ANONYMOUS" switch to the on position and flew for at least 45 minutes, then reset my ADS-B system (FreeFlight XVRL)

and discovered the ANONYMOUS mode on. I then switched off and flew about 15 more minutes, landed and then requested a PAPR report.

Sure enough, the report had me flying under my "N" number for about 20 minutes after the initial 45 minutes of flying (included some ground time).

Total flight time (hobbs) - 1hr 5 minutes.

Two weeks ago, I could not get a report either and that was my error (ANONYMOUS). I will be making a larger print checklist ;-)

Keep in mind, I fly 978 UAT in/out, wireless with IflyGPS and a Samsung Galaxy TabS 8.4 inch Amoled.

2 cents!
