John,

you might look at page 43 of the 740 pilot's guide. Y the data and ground wires and hook them to the trutrak & Dynon per their wiring diagrams & do the appropriat setups on all. This worked for me on my RV7 except I have the D100 with the trutrak. Hope this helps. Bob

Sorry Guys, I can't believe I missed that. I actually ordered one along time ago and it's in front of me now. IFly offers the DB9 breakout board but I suppose I can also just use the standard DB connector to complete it with two wires coming off of pin 3, one for the D10A and the other for the Trutrak Vizion a/p. Thanks, John

Yep, that's how I did it. It works great to guide both devices. Winds on the Efis and follow flight plan for the trutrak. Do make sure you carry the ground to both devices. I don't think the data will have a complete path otherwise. Bob

With regard to carrying the ground to both devices(from pin 5), the Dynon manual also discusses that by "assuming that the external devices share a common ground with the Dynon product." All my grounds(ifly, D10A, Trutrak) go to the forest of tabs on the firewall so does that mean I can just send one pin 5 ground wire also to the forest of tabs or do I split the pin 5 ground wire into two wires and solder one to the D10A ground wire and one to the Trutrak wire? With regard to the pin 3 coming off the 740, does that go to pin 25 on the D10A? Thanks for holding my hand on this stuff.
