IFly 740 Battery

To the IFly development team, A simple question, because of the, I think excessive heat generated by the battery if left ON all the time, I decided to shut it OFF and use it only if needed (the switch should be much bigger to quickly turn the unit ON if necessary), So here it is.
On the instrument panel, the battery show a lightning bolt, "Is this going to change if/when the battery get low"?. If so, How?, if not, maybe the instrument should reflect symbolically the amount of charge left in It, Maybe something like the GPS status one, or any way you see fit, to not confuse the user between the two instruments.

I came on this forum for the first time to see if anyone mentioned the heat of the unit while plugged into power. I've only used the 740 once, coming back from OSH. It got so hot to touch I was quite concerned. I just noticed the battery switch, I will turn it off and fly agian. Thanks

According to Walter, the "boss" at Adventure Pilot, the heat from the 740 is normal. Mine gets very hot too, and has soldiered on without fail since the 740 was introduced. As for the battery instrument, Brian is already making changes to the icon so that it will now represent the level of charge.
