Seamless Charts is planned for our next major release. Overlaying weather will happen either in that same release, or very shortly thereafter.

Technical development question: is the technology behind the seamless charts a precondition for the overlaid weather and other potential features? For example, does it also lead to the possibility of such things as being able to write on approach charts or maps or for "plates over maps" a la ForeFlight and AvNav (I notice your geo-referenced approach charts already look like they are over the maps and have the same rubber-banding capabilities).

Mark,

The simple answer is yes; when we switch to seamless all our charts will be rendered in the same GIS projection. This allows us to overlay various charts and images on top of each other with ease.

Thanks,
Walter
