No email ~ I did go back and check my listings on line but they only go back so far and it might have preceded those records... Not a big deal and we will blame it on the Internet!

Of course I download the whole country! You do realize most pilots are power users :)

If I only downloaded what I need, I could get by with a 2 counties. But full US is what I wanted and ended up a little confined by my 16 GB RAM restraints...

I did hit a couple of errors I could use your help to resolve...
Hagerstowngerstown Class - of what?

I am guessing Class D and not a High School Class...

(and yes I would give the P&R's a little more space than that - they get cranky down there and have missles)

Next one is the missing Data???

What do I need to get that in there?

That's funny. We actually get lots of pilots that only want to update their region, it's faster. If you don't ever plan to go to Alaska or Hawaii, why download it, it just wastes space. Well, to each is his own. That is why we provide it all.

Looks like you might need to force a new Global Database. Touch Menu -> Check for Updates, then touch the Global Data botton on the right, then touch it again. Now Update it. This will force it to pull in the current database. Are you by chance running an early release version, prior to 8.0.65, if so what version are you running. I'll see if I can duplicate this in the office tomorrow.

Yes version is up to date - 8.0.65

I tried as you suggest but I don't have anything in the lower right marked Global Data???

In the box labeled Selected Data Types, I have:

Sectionals

TAC

WAC

Airport Diagrams

RealView Airport Images

IFR Low Enroute (not selected)

IFR Plates (not selected)

Global Data exists about midway up by the US Map but cannot be selected as you indicate.

Sorry for the troubles ~ I may just uninstall and reinstall this evening...

Shane, I get those missing airspace info tabs too. Only for MOA and Restricted airspace. Airport airspace (class B, C etc) the info is there.
Tried your Global Database download posted above but no-joy. As a matter of fact, touching Global will not unselect it; it stays green.
They are on the map margins obviously, but touch menu access is much handier.

John

EDIT: a double tap of the Global button unselects it. However, re-downloading the data does not fix the missing airspace info.
On a side note, in Chart Expirations under Databases, it shows Geographic Databases as not installed, even tho it downloaded them.
I did mention this to Ed last week and he thought it might be a bug.

Guys,

Try a double tap of the Global Data button again and updating. There was a disconnect in the Database on our server and it was just fixed minutes ago. We've downloaded the new database here and those airspaces are now working.

We now have an Airspace "Class Reunion", not a High School reunion either. :-) Hope this helps.
