I just purchased an iFly 720 and opened it up thirty minutes ago. This doesn't seem normal, but I cannot touch anything correctly on the screen. Example is on the aviation maps... I try to hit the round "Menu" button and instead it selects the round "Mode" button. Or if I have the virtual keyboard up, I pick "S" and it gives me "Z" intead. All sorts of silly stuff like that. I sure hope this isn't normal? There's no way I'm flying and fighting with a GPS like this. lol

Any feedback would be great. Many thanks in advance.

Lillian,

It is possible that you need to perform a screen calibration. First, make sure that you have removed the plastic protective sheet from the screen. This sometimes is mistake for a screen protector, it's just for shipping reasons.

Next. Power the iFly 720 on and touch the following sequence.
Setup - > (Screen Icon w/Arrow) -> Yes.

Then you will need to use a Stylus or finer object that won't damage the screen, maybe a toothpick or pen cap... Touch and hold each + on the screen and hold for a second or so until it moves. Repeat this for one time around the screen. Try and hold steady and not move on the +.

It should prompt you to tap the screen or wait for the setting to be saved.

Note: If it keeps going around, give us a call in the morning. I hope this helps and thanks for your business and support.
