One possible workaround in the meantime, since the traffic targets remain the same size regardless of map zoom, you can tap the "+" button a couple of times to zoom in (effectively making the traffic icons smaller), see the info you need, then tap the "-" button a couple of times to get back to your preferred zoom level.

That's certainly a possibility...I usually just look for the info I need using Garmin Pilot on my iPad if something gets covered up. But honestly it's not so much that data gets hidden as the display looks clunky and cluttered with multiple traffic targets that are each a quarter mile long on the screen.

I don't know why there's an option to make your ownship a small triangle but not traffic targets. Just seems like an oversight. Hopefully that's a feature that can be added.
