Asking again in case there is anything new on topic.  My 740 never connects to my ADSB automatically.  After starting up or any power interuption, I have to go through the whole exit application > settings > wifi > , etc.  It sees my PING XXX (and any others) and will connect manually.  Obviously, that's a pain to through EVERY time.  Any help?

+1 to Don.  The hardware iFly devices are known to be flaky re: wifi connections when there is more than one set of stored credentials (like, for your home network and your plane's ADSB device).  

If you delete the stored wifi login credentials for all the networks EXCEPT your plane's ADSB device, I bet you won't have any more problems.  (Networks with stored credentials have a "(Pre)" next to their names.  I'm not sure how it works with the 740, but on some iFly devices, those networks only show up in the list of networks briefly and then disappear, so if you have several "(Pre)" networks you may have to power cycle the device a few times to catch them all and clear them out.)

Have you deleted all other networks with stored login credentials (show up with "(Pre)" in the name, I think), including the one for your plane's ADSB device? 

As mentioned previously in this thread, the iFly devices are notoriously problematic about being taken from one wifi network to another.  It's really best to set them up to connect to the network you're going to fly with, and then not try to connect it to any other networks.  If you need to update the data, pull the SD card and use a Windows machine to update via iFly Connect.  (That's generally quite a bit faster, too.)
