I have two questions. This is on Windows 10.

1. The WAC chart still shows the Durant VOR-DME.  It's been decommisioned for some time now. How often is the WAC updated?

2. The DFW TAC is offset somewhat.  Using the extend runways option for Mesquite 18, it's lined up on the sectional but offset to the east on the TAC.

The WAC is obsoltete--it was discontinued in 2015 (see https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/fligh..._EVCG_15-02.pdf).

I believe iFly still uses it because there is no easy replacement product which provides a basic map of the entire lower 48 within a reasonable data size.  The downside is that as time goes on, that 2015 WAC becomes more and more inaccurate.

Good question. Most of us LIKE having the WAC for long-range planning knowing it is NOT accurate and do not use it for navigation. We want to RETAIN it as there is no alternative right now that is nearly as effective. Thanks.

It would be nice if a pop-up notice didn't keep informing that these charts have expired. Maybe a one-time notice would be sufficient.

Not sure what you mean.  There is no recurring pop-up message for the obsolete WAC charts.
