so will my 16GB SDHC UHS-1 San Disk Ultra plus card be adequate storage?

reading more about CRC errors I am suspect of the unzip step i did using freeware 7ZIP. this however doesn't explain why my original card fails to download software version 8. the possibliity of all 3 of my SD cards failing is highly unlikely. do you use WIN10 at work?

Yes, card doesn't matter tbh as long as it's 16gb. anything more and you're wasting space. Make sure you have the 15 or so files on the root of the card
