I'll reiterate...

I have called attention to the fact that when looking at the winds in the METAR screen you can see wind speed, but not the gust speed because the green VFR box covers the gust speed.

This fix can't be that hard. Just move the VFR box from over top of the gust speed area.

Easy Peasy.

Looking forward to a speedy resolution.

I'm looking on mine and am looking at winds, it says "080 (degree sign) @ 8kt, gst 14"

Not seeing this issue. What version are you using/device?:

Brolin:

Phone is Galaxy Note 9. Tablet is Galaxy Tab A. IFLY verion 11.1.26.

Tap on any airport reporting gusting winds.Tap on weather information. IFLY presents weather METAR. The left column shows winds, Vis, etc. If there is gusting winds the wind speed is shown just next to "Winds". Gusts are shown on the opposite side but are covered over by VFR, MVFR, IFR, etc.

You won't see this unless the airport you choose has gusting winds. On the FR chart airports with gusting wnds show wind arrows with feathers black for average speed and red for gusts. I'm trying to find and airport with gusting winds so I can do a screen shot to send to you.

I've uploaded a screenshot of Twenty Nine Palms Airport for an example.

Brolin:

A friend came up with the answer to the issue I mentioned aout the wind gust being hidden under the VFR box.

I have my font size set to extra large as we myopic pilots tend to do.

This size causes the wind text to spread farther across the screen causing the wind gust speed indication to slip under the VFR MVFR boxes on the right side.

I like the larger font so I would suggest that the VFR box be dropped down a line where very large text would not cause this issue. Of course, if I am one of only a few users who have this issue i can see where it may not be worth the time and effort to correct this issue.

Guess I can live with it fo now but it might be a niced addition to your next version change.
