The only way I can get the weather on screen from the SkyRadar input is to go to "MODE" then "OPTIONS" then "WEATHER" and then touch an airport when it switches to vector mode. Then two METARS show up. Is this the sequence to make this work? It seems to be too many clicks to get the job done. Also I have never been able to get "winds afoft" or Nexrad" even when flying in the LA basin even though it shows Winds aloft and Nexrad downloads from SkyRadar on the "Options" screen.

You should be able to go directly to weather from mode without going throug options. I have found that you do not need to click on a particular airport, just tap the top of the screen in the weather mode. I have been able to test all the weather features except the Nexrad (weather always good when I am testing) and they all work for me on the East cost including winds aloft and PIREPS. I even received a traffic report.
