I flew for a couple months without targets
Finally figured out that it wasn't WiFi ed to anything.
It was looking for my office WiFi 30 miles away.
But that's where I last updated to software.

Thanks for the replies. I have used my home wifi to update so that likely is the problem but I don't see how I remove previously connected wifis. Even if I click on them, my only options are "Connect" and "Cancel", neither of which removes them. Exactly how to I remove old Wifis? Thanks again.
This came up on a different thread, and it was pointed out that the 740 behaves differently in this regard from a 720. Since I'm only familiar with the 720, I am not sure. Hopefully, someone with a 740 can pipe up with the answer, or you could try calling AP during business hours.
My 740 now connects to the Ping wifi automatically by the time it has finished booting up. It didn't do that at first, however, and I had to delete a PRE addresss or two to make it work right.
Don, could you (or someone else with a 740) describe specifically how to delete the PRE networks? Apparently, it's different from my 720 and others have reprorted that it's not obvious how to do that.
