Hi Ed,

Not sure who you spoke with, but some of what you are requesting is available.  Go to Menu -> Settings -> Alerts and Warnings and poke around.  Specifically...

-> Airspace Alerts -> Alert Modes: Lets you configure which airspaces will cause an alert
-> Airspace Alerts -> Alert Distance: Lets you pick a distance or time buffer for the alert
-> Terrain Alerts -> Alert Threshold: You can select the sensitivity.  Not a pure "distance" as this varies with your phase of flight. It affects obstructions as well.  Or disable the alert entirely.
-> Traffic Alerts - > ...Thresholds: Select the vertical and horizontal thresholds for a traffic alert message.  Or disable these alerts.

As to "Alert Mute" you can select the "Inhibit" option when an alert pops, and select how long you want to inhibit that alert.

Walter,

As I understood his original post, he would like to have a different sound/voice for each different alert.

An actual voice saying "Terrain" or a unique tone, if the terrain proximity alert goes off.

An actual voice saying "Traffic (and perhaps 2 O'Clock, 5 miles) or a different unique tone, when there is traffic detected by iFly.

A ding when approaching airspace.

A dong when exceeding course line buffer deviation.

Having different tones/phrases will let the pilot ignore what he's aware of and isn't important to him at that time, and getting his attention for other types of alerts.  If, for example, the pilot is flying low level, on purpose (crop dusting?), and is quite aware of the terrain he could safely ignore the terrain "dings", but if another pilot is out there doing the same thing and gets a bit too close, a DIFFERENT "dong" will alert him that he may want to not ignore this warning.
