Hi folks. I added the serial number for my iFly GPS 720 (purchased from someone else) to my account, and it says it should take 24 hours to show up as being mine, but it has not. Is it because of the weekend?

I would imagine that is the case.  I'm pretty sure they don't work on weekends, unless at an airshow or trade show somewhere.  If you really need it, you should probably call first thing Monday morning, and explain your situation.

Cool thanks! :) I wasn't sure what to imagine when the Website said it could take up to 24 hrs -- I was imagining a 24x7x365 tech support center, or some sort of automated system, or something. If an actual iFly person in some headquarter-ey place has to look at my application, then of course they won't be there on weekends! :)

That is the case.  we review and add all serial numbers ourselves, and our office is open 9 am - 5 pm Central time, Monday-Friday.  If your request still has not been responded to, please contact me at support@adventurepilot.com and we will get it fixed up.

... and, my serial number was added pretty quickly as soon as folks woke up in Texas! Thank you so much!
