It's kinda cool that we can pause sim mode simply by setting the forward speed to zero - and we don't fall out of the sky.  :)

However, there must be an official method because setting speed to zero does not stop the flight timer.

There isn't a pause function, the simulator is driven by fake GPS inputs for us to test the software, so it updates continuously like the GPS chip does.

Ok, then.  I don't mind the timer still running while I'm off to dinner or something, especially for long xcountries.  I guess setting speed to zero is an "undocumented feature."

But it's an obvious one. The simulator speed is set at zero when you first start the simulator.
