Mike,

We do have this on our wishlist. Another feature in the works is Auto Day / Night Mode. You would'nt have to switch back and forth, it would do it for you base on GPS location and sunrise and sunset. I have also recommended that the iFly default to full bright in Day Mode on power up, then the Auto Mode could correct if at night and/or the user can manually set to Night if Auto mode is not enabled. Boths ways should have your request resolved in the near future. Thanks for the great feedback. You are spot on and this is one reason many suddenly found it hard to see. Just brightening the Night Mode up does not remove the darkening layer we use for night mode. There is a substantial difference as you have noticed. Thanks again and have a great evening.

Thanks to all of you who commented on my post. I was 99.9% convinced anyway but it's good to hear positive feedback from others in the field. I'll be placing my order early next week. I'm hoping to try it out on a hop to Hot Springs, AR later in October. Has anyone done any ADS-B work with the I-Fly yet? I'm debating getting the SkyRadar some time next year.

Sam

Bill, do you have a picture of your installation? I'd like to see it and I may follow your lead on the mounting.

I am waiting on the ADS-B here. As far as I can tell they don't have the transmitters finished for the North Texas and the Southwest yet. As soon as it is working I plan to use it. (It is the only reason I still have my Garmin 396 still in my plane)
