Okay... I've downloaded updates for days now, why is it TFR's that are no longer in effect do no go away?

Thanks,

Darrell

I downloaded TFR's today and flew on a trip. After landing, I was informed there were no TFR's and I spent the day flying around them to the tune of $85.00 in 100LL. in extra fuel. My download did not update the TFR maps period, I even came back home and downloaded again... still showing TFR's that are not there? What's up here?

We dug into this issue: The bottom line is the data is still in the raw TFR feed we're receiving, and it does not contain any sort of cancellation date. Jeppesen is responsible for formatting and distributing the XML TFR information, and the FAA supplies them with the data. I have no idea which party is making the mistake here; but we will be reporting this up the channel to see if they can do a better job of cleaning out old information.

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble.

-Walter
