this is probably in the PDF manual ...but I bet some of you know it right off the top  ...

iFly plans a fixed  Altitude between takeoff and destination.....that is after climb out.  IFly does let me override that altitude manually.

But what if , say,  I want to significantly drop to lower altitude for second half of the trip, because On second half I'm well out of the mountainous terrain?  Is there a way to configure that into the flightplan itself?

(Of course, I can just drop down to my preferred altitude when I wish, as this is all VFR. But then I'm not getting the benefit of iFly estimating affect of winds aloft involved with the "early" descent, nor getting its polite "time to descend" reminder?)

.

Here's one way to do it.  Go to the Altitude Planning page and click on your route line and add a waypoint.  Then put a check mark in the allow multiple altitudes box.  Then drag the section of your route up or down to the desired altitude.
