Would using Vector mode increase the accuracy?

Vector Mode is based on actual latitude/longitude information from FAA databases, so it is the most accurate view.

Thanks for the tip, Carl. Where did you read that Vector mode references actual lat/long info?

If the fellow is doing instrument training, it would seem like he would use the enroute chart.
