Walter

Is there a way to let us know what is on the working list for the next release without running amuck setting expectations? I'd sure like to know what you've coded, what is in test and what may be coded and tested before release. I fully understand the downside of having this as a public conversation. Our full wish list never makes it to a release.

Bill,

This is definitely on our radar. Walter and myself are discussing an "Announcements" post on our forums. Initial thought is to have it closed to reply, so it is just for informative reference. This might help regulate those responses that can lead to the over-expectations "running-a-muck". In looking at other electronics companies, GPS included, most are not open with new models and enhancements. I think you will agree we are not like these other companies and we believe in being open. We will continue to think this through as we are also working on a new marketing email program that could be used to inform existing owners. However as a sales guy, I can see the benefit of telling potential owners of the upcoming features.

We greatly appreciate your comments and feedback. We will continue to look for better ways to keep current owners and even potential owners informed of upcoming features and developments.

Have a great day.

Just one quick question. How are things progressing for geo-referencing approach plates? For me that would make the I-fly the greatest navigation tool. So far it has been an outstanding GPS.

Allen,

Geo-Referenced Approach Plates and Airport Diagrams are on target for release at Oshkosh. We actually have the feature running on several Plates and Diagrams. We just have to fine tune it and finish the geo-data for the Airport Diagrams. Then we will be ready for beta testing and then on to production. Oshkosh is the goal. I hope this helps.

ps- Thanks for the kind comments about the iFly 700. It really brings home what we are trying to do.
