Just a word of warning - I bought the custom fit Nu-Shield glare screen for my iFly and the touchscreen will not function. I'm assuming the plastic is too thick. I'm awaiting a response from Nu-Shield on a refund.

Interesting. I've tested this product on a couple of devices and although I've not seen any improvement to glare, it did not cause any problems with the touch screen.

I know this is going to sound silly to some, but I have taken to wearing a black, non-reflective "smock" I made from some material my wife had. I put a hole in the center for my head to fit through and let the material drape over my shoulders and chest, down to my waist. This doesn't make a small difference in the viewablility of the screen...it makes a huge difference. With my 64 year old eyes I need all the help I can get.

Not silly at all. I discovered this last week but haven't had a chance to write it up. Was experimenting under my bubble canopy to determine where all the glare on the screen was really coming from...with the iFly facing the pilot the glare is from light reflecting off the pilot's shirt !!!! Put a black cloth over your shirt and screen is 500% more readable. So the simple solution is to fly wearing a black T-shirt or just drape one over your chest when flying. Makes all the difference in the world.
