Help buying the right Ram Mount for glare shield

I am "mount challenged". I've never bought an aircraft mount, or any other for that matter and don't want to buy the wrong thing.

I would like to mount my IFly under-slung from the glareshield so my co-pilot (ie: wife) can view it as well. If I buy the following RAM mount and then buy the IFly 1" ball mount on the IFly web site, will this (at least conceptually) work?

Hi Gary,

The mount you have shown will work with the iFly Adapter. Any of the 1 inch mounts from RAM will actually work depending on your mounting surface. We offer the complete Yoke Mount Kit on our store as well. You can also email info@adventurepilot.com for a panel mount solution that we have been giving out.
