Walter or Shane -

I just received my iFly 700 and I am amazed at everything you put into this device and then made it available to us at such an affordable price. It is impressive, intuitive, and definately the best GPS I have had in my hands in the past 13 years. Great job!

There is one feature in ver. 5.07 with options that I don't understand. Could you please explain what the "Auto-Track Plane" feature does / does not do?

Thank you, Walter, for the iFly 700 and for listening to us and responding to us through the forum.

After you pan a chart it will stay where you leave it. The "Track Plane" button will resume tracking your plane on the chart. The "Auto-track plane" option will basically automatically press the button for you after a selected amount of time.

How often does a vendor take an existing product...already sold...and spend time, effort, and cash to improve it at no cost t the user? Hmmmmmmmm...not many. I commend Walter and the staff at AP for their work and quick response to pilot needs. Keep up the good work.

Charles, this is exactly the reason I bought the iFly 700. I once bought a new GPS (let's call it an SUX 2000C) from the fishfinder people, and the overall experience was so bad that I will never again buy any product from them. And I always tell every fisherman I know the entire sad story, in hopes of averting yet another issue of non-support by that company. I will, however, continue to support adventurepilot and the iFly700, for the very reason you've touched on above. I think these folks believe in their product!

And so do I.
