The iFly 520 does record your past flights. You can grab a past flight from the Logs folder on the SD card. This can then be uploaded to www.gpsvisualizer.com and you can see you position over google earth and some other details.

Currently, we do not support an exhaustive analysis tool for past flights. We've worked with Claoud Ahoy in the past and have plans to integrate or add our own fuctionality in the future. I hope this helps.

Past flight logs are very small and even with years of flight would not really impact your SD card capacity enough to be concerned. We have 700s out there with years of flights and are working fine.

With that said, if you have an iFly 720 and want to keep everything load, ie Alaska, IFR, WACs, I'd recommend moving to a 16gb card soon for the next V9 update as I believe it will take a little more space. Also it just allows more room for new features coming thereafter.

Apparently this is a newer bug that I was not aware. It was introduced somewhere in the current V8, thus there are many V7 and earlier versions that could be working without this bug. This is already fixed in the V9 that is coming out soon.

Currently, the bug is deleting the most recent flight and limiting to 70 flights. It should be removing the oldest flights, and there lies the bug. The 70 flight limitation is also a new behavior in V8 that I was not aware of. Might have been Brian or Walter that posted that. Sorry or the confusion.

We are addressing that behavior and will not truncate to the 70 flights anymore. We are also looking at prompting a message to remove older flights, in the event the card does become full. Most likely caused by additional features, user files like music, movies, PDF, etc. I hope this helps.
