iFly has an additional instrument you don't have showing called XTE, or Cross-Track Error. If it was showing in your pic, it would be telling you to turn Right 8 degrees.

XTE It is in my pic look again. Yes all magnetic. Level flight. Steady state. Grond track 025 degrees.

XTE is in my pic and I use it.

All magnetic - Steady state - Actual round track was 025 for 30 minutes. Weird. Thanks for trying.

I promise, iFly gives you ground track. Again, how could it give you anything else? Think about it.

EDIT: If your GPS sees that you moved 10 feet north from point A to point B, it doesn't know what direction your airplane was pointed. It doesn't know if you flew forward, backward, or sideways. It does not have a magnetic compass and is not connected to any of your aircraft systems.

Exactly - Inexpicable... Perhaps a buggy day but that's twice I've noticed it on 2 different flights.

My bad I didn't mean XTE, I meant "Turn" instrument. Also you're using your phone's internal GPS which, despite the shown signal strength which is usually an average over time, may have momentarily lost a few satellites.
