Used it in the plane and it works fine. It's especially nice since the iFly doesn't like to connect to Skyradar until Skyradar is up and running. Fire the plane up, wait a few seconds and flip the switch.....ended any problems connecting.

You can achieve the same functionality with the backup battery which has its own on/off switch. This is my preferred setup when the glue on the Velcro doesn't turn into liquid slop and the battery stays where I put it. :-)

Great point on the SkyRadar. This switch would definitely help with facilitate managing a boot cycle to ensure the SkyRadar connection. We've passed this along to our factory and see about a switched plug, more to some. Thanks Dave as always for your great feedback.

Picked mine up at Radio Shack today, looking forward to not having to unplug the ifly. I have been concerned about the jack getting loose.
