Walter,

I'm sure you know by now the 720 cat is starting to creep out of the bag. Is the 720 going to be truly direct sunlight readable as we RVers really need? Can you comment yet on upgrade cost or timing?

I was wondering why the AP crew was so strangely quiet when myself and someone else asked about this! New improved hardware could make for a dilemma for prospective buyers. The solution, of course, is a reasonable and expedient upgrade policy. But not everyone would necessarily opt to do it, and at it's current price point, the 700 simply can't be beat. Sales should not suffer even if AP were to let the 720 cat completely out of the bag.

Thanks for your interest in the iFly 720 development device. This new device will offer a true sunlight readable touchscreen, Wi-Fi updates, iFly Streets road maps and more. Please feel free to contact me at 1-888-200-5129 and I'll be happy to discuss our progress with you. We believe in honesty and being true to our fellow pilots and customers.

Please understand we are not trying to be secretive about this new device. Rather, there is a plan in place to develop, test, beta team test, offer pre-orders and then move to full public release.

We have to consider our partners and nationwide dealer network in this timing as well. We are on track for pre-orders shortly after the first of the year. We are also considering a Trade-in program for existing iFly owners. Details are bring worked out on this.
