Think it would be awesome if the approach profile view could be marked with the aircraft location. Wouldn't want this used a primary means for vertical nav, so a dot or symbol probably wouldn't be appropriate, but maybe a vertical line that shows the horizontal approach progression to easily and quickly reference altitude requirements and other data in the profile view. To make this work, there would probably have to be some kind of "approach mode" created, which allowed horizontal progression marking and auto-sequencing through approach points, missed approach, etc.
