I like the prompting of descend now at 650 feet per minute (or whatever)... Usefull ... But often have to adjust for reality of terrain .
For example airport is in a valley 15 miles out and descending at a constant 650 would fly into terrain ....or at least imprudently low.
Seem like since iFly has the terrain profile already in there seems like it could give a somewhat imore intelligent guess that includes clearing terrain, or even better clearing terrain by a user configurable margin. Might be simple to implement?
hardly essential, as we,d sill have to filter whatever it says throug human intelligence. But particularly nice if forward visibility might be deteriorating.
