Hey everyone, I'm not an owner yet, but will be in the next 2 weeks. This question is limited to form factor and not functionality. Are there any tell-tale characteristics one could use to determine which iFly EFB model is in a photo? So I can't turn it on, and flip it over to look for a data plate, and I have no other information or means to get that information from the individual who owns it or took the photo.

That's it, easy peasy first question!

If I understand correctly, the OP was just asking if there's some visual clues he could use to tell what model iFly is in a photo. Presumably he's looking at a for-sale ad for an aircraft.

If he has a particular photo, it wouldn't hurt if he did post it.  But maybe he just wants to know in general.  I can't answer myself, as I've never owned a dedicated iFly unit.

A quick look on line seems to show that the iFly700 name at the bottom spelled out Adventure Pilot, the iFly720, 740, & 740b have the iFly logo.  It seems they are otherwise similar in size and appearance.  The main difference between the 720 and 740/740b is the 720 does not have an internal battery.
