Just updated my 740b via wifi and noticed there wasn't an "optimize" button on my flight plan screen.  Is real plan not included?  if not, when might it be?

After having two become unbearably sluggish, I didn't have a suitable tablet, so I bought the 740 because it was (supposedly) custom built specifically for this purpose. To say I'm disappointed that it doesn't support their latest feature would be a gross understatement, but the words to describe how I feel right now are not suitable for a public forum.

I feel like I was lied to and sold a $600 boat anchor. Having to buy a 2nd subscription just so I can use the device is unacceptable. 

Walter is right: it IS super easy.

I wish there were some way to sync map updates from the phone to the 740. My 740 is mounted in the instrument panel, where it works beautifully as the primary navigation device. But there's no wifi at my hangar, so I have to take it home for map updates.

I've tried bringing the SD card home, but that's a PIA. I've also tried downloading an update to a USB stick and then plugging the stick into the 740. That's easier, but still something of a PIA, so I usually just bring the whole 740 home and update everything there. That's actually the easiest method (for me). But it would be really cool if I could just sync the maps from the phone without having to take anything out of the plane or fool with one of the other methods. I'm not really asking for such a feature, though.  It's probably too difficult to contemplate.
