Don,

You could just delete all but one Instrument Group, then it would not have any additional Inst. Groups to toggle to. Hope this helps. Many pilots like this option to have these groups to display different information to keep screen clutter down. Just an idea. I'll put it on the wishlist to have an option to Disable Instrument Group Toggling so we can monitor demand and requests. Thanks for your feedback.

Shane: Great advice, as always, however, from what I can see users cannot delete the Basic or the Extended instrument groupings, so we will always have at least these two sets of instruments. The only time I get the option to delete an instrument group is when it is a grouping I defined and saved by name. Personally, I like the option to be able to switch instrument groupings by a tapping on an instrument. I find it very useful, depending on how much real estate I want visible during various regimes of flight and various maps/plates being displayed. ==== Ralph

Agreed, I came to that conclusion and found that I couldn't delete those groups.

True...those groups are built in and cannot be removed. Here is a workaround: You could remove the extra instruments from the Extended group so Basic and Extended are identical, then you would never see a change if you inadvertently toggled the groups.

Thanks,
Walter
